Consistent Cash Flow: Analysing Global Market Insights and the Case for AR Automation

Biography

APAC Strategy Manager, Invoice-to-Cash, BlackLine. Ben is passionate about enabling finance teams to do their best work and allow team members to reach their potential by utilising technology to perform the mundane, repetitive manual tasks that consume so much of their day. Ben has 15 years of experience within the Australian Accounting industry. After beginning his career as an Accountant at a top 15 global firm, he transitioned into Executive Search, placing C Suite Executives into Australia's leading Commercial and Professional Services businesses. He then spent five years at cloud accounting software disruptor Xero, supporting the company's Australian hypergrowth phase. During this time, the customer revenue in Australia quadrupled. His remit primarily supported the larger and more complex customers and clients represented by the Big 4 and mid-tier accounting firms. Xero's solution allowed these businesses to move away from outdated desktop solutions to bespoke cloud-based app stacks. Ben has joined the BlackLine team to lead the Accounts Receivable automation solution across the Asia Pacific region. Accounts receivable, order to cash, credit management. Whatever the process or department is called in your business - collecting cash, providing credit, understanding cash flow, and optimizing working capital are critical to the success of every organization. BlackLine’s unified AR solutions elevate organizational performance and create capacity by removing manual, error-prone processes and providing critical decision intelligence.
