Biography

Finance Share Services Leader at Reece Group Rhys joined the Reece Group, Australia’s leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products, in June 2012. With over 20 year’s Commercial Finance experience across FMCG, Transport, Recruitment and Wholesale, Rhys has held senior roles internationally within Credit, Sales and Operations. Rhys has played a key role delivering processes improvement initiatives, revenue growth and cultural change throughout organisations. Within his current role Rhys has completely revamped the Credit/AR Department delivering a highly efficient team passionate about Reece and their customers. Rhys has had great success with stakeholder engagement, implementing and designing market leading technologies and driving innovation whilst providing focus and priority on staff development. This has resulted in increased sales and industry leading customer and employee engagement. Rhys currently manages a Shared Services Team with 50 staff and is driven by success, leading Reece’s achievement of Credit Team of the Year award in 2014 and several members of the Reece Credit Team participating in the young credit professional of the year awards (including a recent National Winner). Rhys’ ongoing mission is to push boundaries through innovative continuous improvement methodology, whilst investing in people and empowering them to succeed.
